EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — Deputies have arrested 49-year-old Arturo Caballero in far east El Paso. He was wanted in connection with a fatal drunk driving crash.
The arrest took place on Tuesday in the 12300 block of Tierra Laguna Drive, near Montana Avenue and Joe Battle Boulevard. According to the El Paso County Constable Office Precinct Three, the arrest followed an active personal recognizance bond revocation warrant for Caballero.
He is facing multiple serious charges, including:
Intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle
Intoxicated manslaughter causing serious bodily injury
Accident involving death
Manslaughter
Caballero was booked into the El Paso County Jail without incident, with a total bond set at $100,000.
