GARAPAN, CNMI — Twin brothers Fritz Kosam and Joe Kosam, both 19 years old, were arrested on Friday, June 27, 2025, in connection with a burglary at Cheers Karaoke Bar, according to the Department of Public Safety (DPS).
The arrests followed warrants issued by Superior Court Judge Joseph N. Camacho, who charged the Kosam brothers with burglary, theft, and vandalism. Bail was set at $25,000 each.
Assistant Chief of Police Simon Manacop confirmed the arrests and said they stem from a June 16 incident in which the suspects broke into Cheers Karaoke around 4:58 p.m. Through forced entry at the front door, they allegedly stole assorted liquor valued at $1,373 and $131 in cash.
Investigators identified the brothers through surveillance footage. Both later confessed to the crime during questioning.
The twins are currently in the custody of the Department of Corrections, awaiting a formal bail hearing.
