FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — 38-year-old Adam Delacruz has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of 64-year-old Abraham Tiggs, found dead in southwest Fresno.
Delacruz was taken into custody on Wednesday after detectives served a search warrant at a residence on Tulare and B Street.
The incident occurred on Sunday, March 16, when Tiggs was discovered dead near a convenience store in the area. Following an investigation, police say they recovered a gun during the search, which they believe was used in the homicide.
Delacruz now faces charges of murder and illegal possession of a firearm.
The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to gather additional details surrounding the case.
