SCHENECTADY — Frederick Hollingshed, a 58-year-old resident of Schenectady, was convicted this week in connection with a COVID-related fraud case, according to the Schenectady County District Attorney’s Office.

Hollingshed was found guilty of third-degree grand larceny, two counts of first-degree identity theft, and criminal possession of stolen property. The charges stem from fraudulent activity during the COVID-19 pandemic, officials said.

The conviction marks a significant outcome in the ongoing efforts to address pandemic-related financial crimes.
