by Amelia Crawford

Freddie Bryant, 29, a resident of DeLand, Florida, has been arrested on multiple charges following a drug trafficking raid at his apartment. The Volusia Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at Bryant’s residence, located at 700 Integra Dune Circle, and discovered a significant stash of drugs and cash.

During the raid, deputies seized 60 grams of cocaine hidden in a couch, but that was just the beginning. Further investigation revealed a hidden supply of cash inside Bryant’s dryer vent hose, amounting to $52,388 in various denominations, including hundreds, fifties, and twenties.

Bryant was arrested and charged with an outstanding warrant for the sale and delivery of cocaine, along with new charges of cocaine trafficking, possession of oxycodone, renting a structure for drug sales, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held at the Volusia County Branch Jail with a bond set at $57,000. The money found in his dryer vent will not be available to pay for his release.
