Fraudulent Vehicle Insurance and Document Racket Busted in Shamshabad

Three arrested for fake insurance policies, documents racket

A major fraudulent vehicle insurance and government documents racket was uncovered by the Shamshabad Special Operations Team (SOT) on Friday, January 17. Three individuals were arrested in connection with the scam, which involved the creation and sale of fake vehicle insurance policies and government documents.

The arrested individuals include Md Awyes (38) and Buneti Shravan Kumar Goud (41), both employed as Regional Transport Authority (RTA) agents, and Morsu Shiva Kumar (33). These three were actively involved in the racket, while ten other suspects remain at large.

Authorities have launched a full investigation into the scam, which had been operating under the radar, exploiting vulnerable individuals seeking legitimate insurance and documents for their vehicles.
