NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – Two men have been arrested in connection with a deadly shooting that occurred on Sunday evening in North Charleston.

Frank Simmons, 21, and Christopher Simmons, 20, have been charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. Police were alerted to the scene late Sunday when they discovered Timothy Haynes, 18, who had been shot and was unresponsive. Despite efforts by his mother to perform CPR, Haynes was pronounced dead at the scene at around 11:54 p.m. by the Charleston County Coroner’s Office.
