Four men were arrested on drug trafficking, firearm, and gang-related charges after East Baton Rouge Parish deputies raided six locations across Baton Rouge and Prairieville on Tuesday. The men are accused of running a drug-trafficking organization known as “4letter,” which had been under investigation for the past three months.

Authorities seized over 780 doses of fentanyl, nearly 40 pounds of marijuana, an ounce of cocaine, and nearly $67,000 in cash. Additionally, deputies confiscated nine handguns and a shotgun from the suspects’ properties.

The following individuals were arrested:

Kevin Jefferson, 28
Damion Gaines, 30
Nicholas Smith, 34
Lee Graham, 36 (also charged with money laundering)
Jefferson was out on bond from a 2020 arrest by the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office and was prohibited from possessing firearms. The investigation continues as law enforcement works to dismantle the trafficking operation.
