Four members of a Thetford drugs gang have been sentenced to a total of more than 20 years in prison for their roles in distributing class A drugs.
The group appeared at Norwich Crown Court on Wednesday, 26 November 2025, where they admitted conspiracy to supply cocaine following a police investigation between January and October 2024.
Christopher Overton, 34, of Elm Road, Thetford – 9 years 6 months
Ashley Holloway, 32, of St Johns Way, Thetford – 6 years
Luke Jeffries, 29, of Edinburgh Way, Thetford – 3 years
Chelsea Archer, 26, of St Johns Way, Thetford – 2 years 3 months
Christopher Overton led the operation, coordinating the so-called ‘Jimmy line’, which distributed cocaine across Thetford and Brandon. The drugs were sold in small paint pots resembling children’s art supplies. Between September 2023 and May 2024, the gang’s phone line reportedly received over 28,500 calls from users seeking cocaine.
Detective Inspector John Beales, of the Serious and Organised Crime Unit, praised the police investigation that dismantled the network. He said: “Criminal gangs like these exploit the vulnerable and spread misery in our communities. Seizing harmful drugs and bringing those responsible to justice is the result of a relentless, intelligence-led operation.”
