Four Including Two Nepalese Held in Cherthala Online Fraud Case

Police Crackdown Continues; Total Arrests Rise to Six

by Ananya Mehta

In a continued crackdown on cybercrime, the Cherthala Police have arrested four more individuals, including two Nepalese nationals, in connection with a major online fraud case.

The newly arrested have been identified as:

Abineeth Yadav (Uttar Pradesh)

Sanjay Dubey (Uttar Pradesh)

Ajith Khadka (Nepal)

Prince Dev (Nepal)

These arrests follow the earlier capture of Sahil and Shubham Srinivastav, both residents of Uttar Pradesh, who were taken into custody over a month ago for their role in the same case.

According to police sources, the accused were allegedly involved in a pan-India online scam operation, and their activities were tracked through digital evidence and financial trails.

The Cherthala cybercrime team is continuing its investigation to uncover the full scope of the network, which is believed to span multiple states and may involve foreign digital payment channels.
