Four Family Members Arrested for Stealing $4,000 in Makeup from Harris County Kroger

Four family members have been arrested after allegedly stealing $4,000 worth of makeup from a Harris County Kroger. The incident occurred at the store located in the 20300 block of Cypresswood Drive, prompting a shoplifting call to the Harris County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office.

According to authorities, three adult family members and a juvenile participated in the theft. The stolen cosmetics were later returned to the business, and the suspects were taken into custody.

The arrested adults were identified as Valeria Gonzales, Shermiah Roberts, and Charles James. Gonzales was found to have active felony warrants for evading arrest in a motor vehicle and theft charges out of Harris County. Roberts was arrested after allegedly providing a false name and birthdate and was found to have an outstanding theft warrant from Montgomery County.

The juvenile, whose identity was not disclosed due to their age, was also arrested and taken to the Juvenile Probation Center.

Gonzales, Roberts, and James were booked into the Harris County Jail and charged with Retail Theft-Organized Crime.
