Four Arrested, Including Two Minors, for Stealing Cash from Car in Panchkula

Stolen Rs 24,000 Recovered from Adult Suspects, Minors Sent to Juvenile Home

In a swift action by the Panchkula Police, four individuals, including two minors, were arrested for stealing money from a car. The victim, Ankur Bansal, a resident of Sector 21, lodged a complaint on March 16, stating that he had parked his Fortuner car in Sector 6 with Rs 24,000 in cash inside. Upon returning, he discovered the dashboard open and the money missing.

Within just two hours of the complaint, police arrested four suspects, two of whom were minors aged 11 and 12. The other two suspects were identified as Govinda, a resident of Indira Colony, and Pankaj, from Rajeev Colony.

The stolen cash was recovered from the adult suspects, Govinda and Pankaj. Both were presented in court and sent to judicial custody. Meanwhile, the minors were presented before the juvenile justice officer and were sent to the Juvenile Home in Ambala.
