Four Arrested in New London Motel Drug Bust

Narcotics, Drug Paraphernalia, and Money Seized at Regency Inn

Four individuals were arrested in New London after a narcotics bust at the Regency Inn and Suites Motel on Saturday night. The arrests were part of a police operation addressing quality of life concerns in the area.

Around 8 p.m., officers conducting field operations discovered the suspects in possession of narcotics and money at the motel. The arrested individuals were identified as:

Brian Hurley, 40, of New London, charged with possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia.
Jonathan Olivencia, 35, of New London, charged with two counts of possession of narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating a drug factory, and possession of narcotics with intent to sell within 200 feet of a school.
Christina Owens, 40, of New London, charged with possession of narcotics.
David Valez, 42, of Montville, charged with possession of narcotics and possession of narcotics with intent to sell.
The arrests followed a police investigation into drug activity in the area, and the suspects now face multiple charges related to drug possession and trafficking.
