Chandigarh police have taken four accused into custody in connection with the high-profile murder of Inderjit Singh, alias Parry, which occurred in Sector 26 on December 1, 2025.

The accused—Piyush Piplani (28) of Panchkula, Kunwarbir (30) of Amritsar, and Gopal and Shivam of Faridkot—were brought to Chandigarh on production warrants from jails in Delhi and Ambala. They were presented before a district court, which granted police seven days of remand for further investigation.

Authorities confirmed that Parry had multiple criminal cases registered against him in Chandigarh and Punjab and shared past associations with gangster Bishnoi dating back to their college days.

Production warrants for three additional accused—Ankush (23) from Panchkula, Lovepreet Singh (26) from Naraingarh, and Santokh alias Kapil Khatri (29) from Tarn Taran—are still pending. Police said they will be brought to Chandigarh shortly for questioning.

The investigation continues as officers work to uncover the full sequence of events and any further accomplices involved in the case.
