BUENA VISTA, Colo. — Four people were arrested following a long-term investigation into illegal drug distribution in Buena Vista, the Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) announced Tuesday.
The investigation concluded on July 30, but details were held until this week to protect its integrity.
The suspects, all from Buena Vista, were identified as:
Chad Foreman (55)
Sevanah Lane (25)
Kayley Odell (24)
Chris Foreman (52)
Deputies reported seizing 66 grams of methamphetamine from Chad Foreman. He is charged with unlawful distribution of meth and is being held on a $5,000 cash-only bond.
From Sevanah Lane, deputies recovered 110 fentanyl pills. She is charged with unlawful distribution and possession of fentanyl, and was also found to have four active warrants, including one with a no-bond hold.
Kayley Odell was arrested for criminal mischief and trespassing, while Chris Foreman was charged with accessory to crime. Both were released on $500 personal recognizance bonds.
CCSO said the arrests reflect a continued effort to combat drug trafficking in the region.
