Fort Pierce SWAT Raid: Frank Koposesky, Daniel Bailey Arrested

Cocaine, fentanyl, and meth uncovered in alleged drug operation

A SWAT raid in Fort Pierce on Tuesday led to the arrests of Frank Koposesky, 56, and Daniel Bailey, 44, after authorities discovered cocaine, fentanyl, and meth at a home on Pensacola Road.

Details of the Raid
The St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office (SLCSO) SWAT team and Special Investigation Division executed a search warrant around noon, targeting the home for suspected drug activity.

Upon arrival, four people exited the residence, while officers found another attempting to flush evidence in the bathroom. The 21-year-old man, who claimed he was only there to “hang out,” told investigators that Koposesky was selling fentanyl and that Bailey was operating a drug sales operation out of the garage.

Evidence Recovered
Investigators found:

Fentanyl, cocaine, and methamphetamine
Drug paraphernalia, weighing scales, and crack pipes
Clear baggies with cocaine residue
Tin foil with drug residue in the toilet
Methamphetamine inside Koposesky’s vehicle
Suspect Statements & Charges
Koposesky denied knowledge of the drugs and refused to cooperate, stating he was “not a rat.”

Both men were arrested and charged:

Frank Koposesky: Possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug equipment
Daniel Bailey: Two counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to sell, possession of drug equipment
