Fort Dodge Man Arrested for Robbery of Two Casey’s Stores

Christafer T. Perez charged with robbery, theft, and more after incidents

FORT DODGE, IA – On Tuesday, 20-year-old Christafer T. Perez was arrested by Fort Dodge Police in connection with two separate incidents at Casey’s General Store locations. Around 3:36 a.m., Perez reportedly entered the Casey’s at 3327 Fifth Avenue South, demanded money, and fled on foot. No injuries or weapons were reported.

Later, at 9:33 a.m., Perez allegedly entered the Casey’s at 2007 North 15th Street, took items without paying, and left on a bicycle. A police officer identified and apprehended Perez in the 1600 block of North 15th Street after a brief attempt to flee.

Perez now faces charges including second-degree robbery, two counts of fifth-degree theft, interference with official acts, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is held in Webster County Jail in Fort Dodge.
