VIDOR, Texas — Jennifer Lynn Phillips, the former Human Resources Director for the City of Vidor, was arrested on Friday and indicted this week on a felony theft charge, according to the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.
Phillips, 46, was indicted on the charge of theft by a public servant, a state jail felony. District Attorney Krispen Walker confirmed the indictment, noting that the charge carries a punishment range of two to 10 years in prison, along with a fine of up to $10,000 if convicted.
Phillips resigned from her position as the City of Vidor’s HR manager in May 2024.
Jail records indicate Phillips was taken into custody on Friday.
