Forensic Clues Lead to Arrest of Murder Suspect Ranjeet Vishwakarma in Thakurganj

In a swift investigation led by Thakurganj Police, the murder of restaurant owner Shatrughan Rathore was unraveled, thanks to crucial forensic evidence. On Saturday, police arrested Ranjeet Vishwakarma, alias Chhotu (45), the prime suspect, who was involved in the fatal attack on Rathore on December 31.

The case took a turn during the autopsy, where forensic investigators found traces of blood on Rathore’s neck that didn’t match his own. This discovery prompted further analysis, which led authorities to connect the blood on Rathore’s body to Ranjeet’s index finger. It was revealed that during a scuffle with Rathore, Ranjeet had his finger bitten by the victim, providing a vital forensic link.

As the investigation progressed, police uncovered a conspiracy involving multiple individuals. Dharmendra Rathore, a close associate, allegedly hired Ranjeet for Rs 1 lakh to carry out the murder. Police confirmed that this plot was orchestrated by none other than Shatrughan’s wife, Rakhi Rathore, who had enlisted the help of Dharmendra. Additionally, Ankit, an accomplice, was involved in the conspiracy.

On January 1, police arrested Dharmendra, Rakhi, and Ankit, bringing the total number of arrested suspects to four. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the tragic crime.

The case highlights how forensic clues can play a critical role in solving complex crimes, and the arrest of all involved individuals underscores the diligence of the police in uncovering hidden motives behind heinous acts.
