PALMETTO, FL – A Florida man is back in jail after being charged with more than two dozen counts related to video voyeurism, stalking, and sexual cyber harassment.
Aaron Burton was arrested on Valentine’s Day by the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office, marking the second time he has been accused of secretly recording and distributing images of his wife, Autumn Burton.
Repeat Offender
Burton had previously served time in prison for filming Autumn in their home’s bathroom and bedroom and sharing the footage with over a million people online.
Now, investigators say he used those images to engage in sexually explicit conversations with a 15-year-old child through a video game. The case first surfaced in November 2024, when the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children flagged the online activity to authorities.
Victim Speaks Out
Autumn Burton, now advocating for tougher sentencing laws, is urging victims to speak up and fight for justice.
“I cannot stress enough that you have to advocate for yourself,” she said.
With Burton facing significant legal consequences once again, Autumn hopes her story will prevent others from experiencing similar violations.
