Five Arrested in Punjab Narcotics, Dalip Kumar Held for Liquor

Banned tablets and 9,000 ml illicit liquor seized across districts

Punjab Police have conducted multiple raids across districts, seizing narcotics and illicit liquor, and arresting five individuals in connection with drug and alcohol offenses.

In Bullowal, Ritik of Sham Churasi was apprehended with banned tablets. Similarly, Balveer of Chabbewal was arrested, and the police recovered prohibited tablets from him. During interrogation, Balveer revealed that he had procured the tablets from Tajinder Singh, who has now been named in the ongoing investigation.

The city police also arrested Vivek Adiya of Bassi Khabaju while on patrolling duty, recovering a large quantity of banned tablets from him. Bullowal police arrested Rakesh Kumar of Haidrowal with prohibited tablets.

In a related case, Dalip Kumar of Bakapur was arrested by Garhshankar police, with 9,000 ml of illicit liquor seized.

Authorities are continuing investigations to trace the supply chain and identify additional suspects involved in the distribution of banned substances and illegal liquor.
