Five men have been arrested in connection with an armed home invasion and shooting at an Airbnb in Davenport in early November, authorities reported.

On November 5, deputies from the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an armed invasion at a property on the 900 block of Leader Street. A juvenile female victim stated that multiple men, dressed in black and wearing ski masks, exited a vehicle armed with firearms and forced her back into the home.

During the invasion, the suspects allegedly stole items and exchanged gunfire with individuals inside the residence. Deputies arriving at the scene found multiple pistol and rifle shell casings, bullet holes throughout the home, and a shattered rear sliding glass door.

Two suspects, 21-year-old Devante Elijah Joseph and 20-year-old Markel Ja’Marion Bailey, were identified by the victim and arrested. They were booked into Osceola County Jail facing charges including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, shooting into an occupied dwelling, grand theft, armed robbery with a firearm, and criminal mischief.

Further investigation led to the arrest of 22-year-old Alvan Dimy Civil and 20-year-old Jaiquan Darius Hill near Woodbury Road in Orange County on November 24. A fifth suspect, 20-year-old Ronnall Lachasta, Jr., was arrested the following day while in a vehicle in Orange County. All five men are now in custody and face multiple serious charges related to the incident.
