Five Arrested for Theft of Licensed Rifle and Cartridges in Danapur

Police recover four live cartridges and four cellphones in the case

In a significant breakthrough, Danapur police arrested five criminals involved in the theft of a licensed rifle and 18 cartridges from the home of Dulari Sharan Singh in Danapur on November 26 of last year. The arrests were made after a thorough investigation led by Danapur ASP Bhanu Pratap Singh, who utilized CCTV footage and Call Detail Records (CDR) to trace the suspects.

The arrested criminals were identified as Golu Kumar, Prakash Kumar, Suresh Kumar, Mohammad Shahrukh, and Gautam Kumar. During the investigation, the police recovered four live cartridges and four cellphones from the suspects.

This successful operation has brought relief to the victim, Dulari Sharan Singh, and highlights the effectiveness of modern investigative techniques such as CCTV analysis and CDR tracking in solving crimes. Further investigations are underway as police work to uncover any additional connections and motives behind the theft.
