In a major drug bust, five individuals, including a woman, were arrested for allegedly running an online drug trafficking network across the National Capital Region (NCR). The suspects were arrested with 30kg of Shillong ganja, 236 grams of hash (charas), and a Hyundai Creta vehicle.

The arrested suspects are:

Bintu alias Kalu (33) from Bulandshahr,
Satendra Sharma (39),
Sandeep Kumar (32),
Ashif Jamal (24), all from Bihar,
Kajal Kumari (20), a woman accomplice from Bihar, currently residing in Ghaziabad.
The arrests were made by a team from the Phase 3 police station, near a dumping ground in Sector 71, Noida. According to Shakti Mohan Avasthy, DCP (Central Noida), the mastermind behind the operation was identified as Bintu. He sourced cannabis from Shillong and transported it to NCR, aided by Kajal Kumari, who helped avoid suspicion during the process.

The group had set up a fake online store to process drug orders, and they used courier services to deliver the drugs to their customers. The estimated market value of the seized cannabis is around Rs 50,000 per kilogram.

Authorities are continuing their investigation, and efforts are underway to uncover the full scope of the trafficking network.
