Dutchess County, NY (WRGB) — The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office has arrested Fatjon Sulaj, a 35-year-old resident of Yonkers, in connection with a larceny case involving over $50,000 in undelivered commissioned artwork.

Officials say the investigation began about a month ago following a complaint to the Detective Bureau. Sulaj was arrested on July 29, 2025, after detectives determined he allegedly accepted a large payment from a church for custom artwork but failed to provide the commissioned pieces.

Sulaj is now facing a second-degree grand larceny charge, a felony under New York State law.

Following his arrest, Sulaj was released with an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to appear in Town of Hyde Park Court on August 12, 2025, at 5 PM.

The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities encourage anyone with additional information to contact the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office.
