The police arrested a father-son duo, Sukhdev Singh alias Vindu and his son Sarabjit Singh alias Saabi, from Burj Hassan village for drug peddling. SHO Parwinder Singh confirmed the recovery of 250 intoxicated tablets from their possession. Both have multiple pending cases against them, and separate cases have been registered under relevant laws.
In a related development, Jaspreet Singh of Pati Bhatti, Bilga village was arrested on charges of heroin consumption. Authorities are continuing their crackdown on drug-related offenses in the area.
