by Amelia Crawford

A Fall River man, Davonta Davis, was arrested on January 30 by the Somerset Police Department on charges of fentanyl trafficking, unarmed burglary, and vandalizing property.

Davis is accused of being involved in a burglary that took place earlier in January. Following the investigation, authorities obtained an arrest warrant for him. Upon his arrest, police discovered 100 grams of fentanyl on his person, leading to the trafficking charge.

Davis now faces serious charges in connection with both the burglary and his alleged role in drug distribution.
