In a startling discovery, the Aryapalli Marine Police arrested Prasannajit Sarkar, a fake doctor and class 10 dropout, who had been running an illegal clinic in Gandhi Chhak, Chhatrapur block, Ganjam district. The police launched an investigation following complaints about a quack doctor in the area.
During their probe, officers found Sarkar’s clinic and learned that he lacked any medical qualifications, having failed to complete even class 10. Despite this, he had been treating patients and prescribing medication for the past two years without detection by local authorities.
Following his arrest, police confiscated a large stockpile of medicines from the clinic. The case remains under investigation as authorities work to uncover the full extent of Sarkar’s illegal medical practice.
