The Malpe police have arrested three individuals in connection with the murder of 52-year-old Saifuddin, the owner of AKMS Transport, a private bus operator, at Kodavoor in Udupi on Saturday.
The accused have been identified as:
Mohammed Faizal Khan (27) of Badagabettu village, Udupi taluk
Mohammed Sharief (37) of Shivalli village, Udupi taluk
Abdul Shukoor (43) of Katipalla, Mangaluru taluk
Police have confirmed that the investigation into the motive and circumstances of the murder is ongoing, and further details will be disclosed as the case progresses.
