by Sophia Bennett

Fabian Eliseo Llancavil Nahuel was arrested over the weekend by the Zionsville Police Department following a pursuit in the Irishman’s Run Neighborhood.

Police said officers responded to a report of a man dressed in black fleeing through backyards, creating a public safety concern near Interstate 865. A department-issued drone helped locate Nahuel in a wooded area, where officers safely detained him.

Authorities found a window punch and rubber gloves on Nahuel. He was preliminarily charged with obstruction of justice, false identity statement, resisting law enforcement, and faces two national warrants for grand theft and organized criminal activity.

The investigation was assisted by the Whitestown Police Department and the Boone County Sheriff’s Office. ZPD encouraged residents to report any suspicious activity to their non-emergency line.
