Eugenio De La Torre-Delgado Arrested in Laredo

Border Patrol links suspect to violent Paisas gang

LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) – A Mexican national with alleged ties to a violent criminal gang has been arrested by Border Patrol agents in the Laredo Sector.

According to officials, Eugenio De La Torre-Delgado was taken into custody by agents from the Laredo South Station. During an interview, he admitted to being an active member of the Paisas gang, a group known for violent criminal activity.

Authorities say De La Torre-Delgado had previously been deported from the United States and is now facing charges under 8 USC 1326 for felony re-entry, which applies to individuals who re-enter the U.S. after removal without legal authorization.

No additional details about the circumstances of his arrest have been released, but officials confirmed the case remains under investigation.
