A 24-year-old man has been charged with murder two years after the fatal shooting of 19-year-old Kevin Pokuta in Sheffield.
Pokuta died a day after being shot on Page Hall Road on 12 December 2023. On Friday, South Yorkshire Police announced that Ethan Hallows, of no fixed address, has now been charged in connection with the killing.
Hallows faces multiple charges, including:
Murder
Conspiracy to rob
Two firearms offences
Attempting to cause grievous bodily harm
He has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
Police continue to appeal for information as they progress the investigation into Kevin Pokuta’s death.
