BAY CITY, Mich. — Damian Leske, 22, of Essexville, has been arrested and is currently lodged in the Bay County Jail after being accused of stealing pet food and possessing drugs.

Leske was taken into custody around 8 p.m. on January 11 by officers from the Bay City Department of Public Safety after he allegedly attempted to rob Pet Supplies Plus at 2624 Center Avenue. He was arraigned on January 16 and is currently held on a $75,000 bond. Leske is scheduled for a pretrial conference on January 24 at 10:55 a.m. before Bay County District Court Judge Mark Janer.
