Ernesto Lopez Villalvazo Arrested for Theft of Services in Baker County

19-year-old faces charges after allegedly driving off without paying for fuel

A 19-year-old man, Ernesto Ray Lopez Villalvazo, was arrested in Baker County after allegedly stealing fuel from a towing company on New Year’s Eve.

Oregon State Police reported that Lopez Villalvazo was delivered fuel by a towing company to his Chevy Malibu. After receiving the fuel, he drove off without paying and nearly struck the tow truck driver.

On January 1, 2025, Lopez Villalvazo was located by law enforcement at a rest stop in Baker County and arrested for theft of services (less than $100) and recklessly endangering another person. The Chevrolet Malibu was towed, and Lopez Villalvazo was taken to Baker County Jail.
