Elmira, N.Y. – Brandon Fuller, 33, was arrested on March 27 following an investigation into a burglary in Horseheads, conducted by New York State Police and the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office.
Fuller was charged with burglary in the second degree (Class C felony), criminal mischief in the third degree (Class E felony for property damage over $250), and criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree (a misdemeanor), according to a release from the New York State Police.
Police responded to a report of a burglary at an apartment on Watkins Road in Horseheads, where the victim claimed that the apartment had been ransacked and items, including a modem and router, were stolen. Upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement discovered that no one was inside the residence.
During their investigation, deputies learned that earlier that evening, they had encountered Fuller, who was in possession of the stolen items. Fuller was subsequently located and placed into custody by the New York State Police for processing.
Fuller was arraigned in Horseheads Town Court and taken to the Chemung County Jail.
