Elizabethtown Men Arrested After Meth and Firearm Found in Home

Two men charged with drug offenses and firearm possession in Elizabethtown

ELIZABETHTOWN, N.C. (WECT) – Two Elizabethtown men are behind bars after deputies discovered methamphetamine and a firearm during a search at a home on Wagon Wheel Drive.

On March 10, the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) executed a search warrant at the residence and seized several amounts of methamphetamine, along with a firearm.

Benjiman Allen Bailey, 23, and Jesse Thomas III, 29, both of Elizabethtown, were arrested in connection with the find.

Bailey faces multiple charges, including:

Possession of a firearm by a felon

Possession of a firearm with an altered/removed/destroyed serial number

Maintaining a vehicle, dwelling, or place for the sale and/or keeping of controlled substances

Possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver a Schedule II controlled substance

Possession of drug paraphernalia

Bailey was taken to the Bladen County Detention Center, where he was given a $75,000 secured bond.

Thomas was charged with:

Felony possession of methamphetamine

Possession of marijuana

Possession of drug paraphernalia

Thomas was given a $10,000 secured bond.

The investigation is ongoing.
