HAZLETON, LUZERNE CO. (WOLF) — Authorities in Luzerne County are searching for Eldor Mendez-Cabrera, 38, of Hazleton, in connection with a large-scale drug distribution operation.
The West Hazleton Police Department announced that Mendez-Cabrera is wanted for his involvement in a local drug trafficking ring. Police stated that the investigation, which lasted several months, led to the seizure of significant quantities of illegal substances, including:
500 doses of fentanyl
87 grams of cocaine
101 misbranded fentanyl pills
U.S. currency believed to be related to criminal activities
The investigation was carried out with the support of the Hazleton City Police Department and the Luzerne County Drug Task Force.
