RAVIA, Okla. (KXII) – The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office made two separate drug-related arrests within one hour Saturday night in Ravia.
Deputies first encountered Eddie Ramirez near Canada Lane and Wrecker Road, appearing to be under the influence of drugs. Upon investigation, deputies learned Ramirez had an outstanding warrant from Texas for a probation violation. His criminal record included multiple domestic violence and drug charges.
Ramirez was arrested on charges of public intoxication and possession of methamphetamine, and booked into the Johnston County Jail.
Less than an hour later, deputies pulled over Geneva Levya during a routine traffic stop. A search of her vehicle uncovered meth and marijuana. Levya was arrested for possession of both substances and also taken to the Johnston County Jail.
Authorities said the quick succession of arrests highlights the ongoing drug concerns in the area.
