LEXINGTON, Neb. (KOLN) — Nebraska State Patrol troopers arrested a Colorado man after discovering 116 pounds of marijuana processing material during a traffic stop on Interstate 80 in Dawson County.
Around 2:30 p.m. Sunday, a trooper observed a westbound vehicle speeding near mile marker 238. When the vehicle was stopped, the trooper detected the odor of marijuana, officials said.
A search of the vehicle uncovered approximately 116 pounds of marijuana resin, wax, and vape, along with items used to process marijuana into smaller portions, according to NSP.
The driver, Dylan Worrall, 24, of Colorado, was arrested for possession of over one pound of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failing to have a drug tax stamp. He was booked into Dawson County Jail. The Dawson County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the search.
