A 33-year-old man has been charged with second-degree murder after a woman was found dead inside a closet at a resort in Key Largo, Florida.
Dylan Lamb, a kayak guide, was arrested on April 5, 2025, following the disappearance and death of Nadyne Marie Tillman, 43. According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, Tillman was last seen on Saturday, April 5, when she met Lamb at the Amoray Beach Resort. Her family reported her missing after losing contact over the weekend.
Authorities searched Lamb’s room and discovered Tillman’s body concealed in a closet beneath a water heater. She had severe facial injuries including two black eyes and swollen, lacerated lips. Her body was found in a fetal position and partially clothed.
An arrest report revealed that Lamb initially refused to cooperate with hotel staff and barricaded himself in the room before checking out Sunday morning. After he left, a housekeeper found trash bags full of soiled, blood-stained linens, which had unfortunately already been discarded before police could collect them as evidence.
Deputies later found text messages between Lamb and Tillman on his phone, along with her credit card in his wallet. During questioning, Lamb reportedly admitted to hiring Tillman as an escort and agreed to pay her $200. He claimed she took the money but refused sex, leading to an altercation in which he allegedly struck her in the face.
He told police she fell and became unconscious after hitting her head. Rather than calling 911, Lamb said he panicked, cleaned the scene, and hid her body inside the closet. However, investigators noted that Tillman’s injuries were inconsistent with a single blow.
Lamb has been charged with second-degree murder, kidnapping and false imprisonment, solicitation of prostitution, and tampering with evidence. He is being held in custody and is scheduled to be arraigned on May 13.
