Durant Men Arrested for $10K Bond Forgery

Malik Brewer and Dravian Sterling face felony bank fraud

DURANT, Okla. — Two men in Bryan County are facing felony charges for allegedly attempting to defraud a bank, authorities said.

Malik Brewer, 24, and Dravian Sterling, 20, reportedly tried to forge more than $10,000 in United States bonds at Simmons Bank in Durant, according to court documents.

The investigation into the alleged scheme is ongoing, and both men remain in custody pending further legal proceedings.
