A drug smuggler, Rohan Singh, was arrested in Hyderabad’s Dhoolpet area on Saturday for concealing 10 kilograms of ganja behind photo frames of Hindu deities. According to police, Singh even performed pooja rituals as a ploy to avoid suspicion during his illegal activities.
The narcotics, carefully hidden behind the frames, were discovered during a police raid. Investigations revealed that Singh sourced the cannabis from Odisha and distributed it across various Hyderabad localities, including Gachibowli. Authorities suspect that this arrest is part of a larger smuggling network operating in the region.
