Roy, from Kacharihat under Golakganj Police Station in Dhubri, was apprehended at the Magic taxi stand, a known location for illicit activities. During the raid, the police seized 18 vials containing 23.5 grams of suspected heroin, along with 3 empty plastic containers, 3 wrenches, and a knife. These items were linked to his drug trafficking and theft activities.

Sapan Roy, with a history of criminal offenses, is believed to have been operating as part of a larger drug trafficking network. Further investigations are underway as the authorities intensify their efforts to break the criminal operations in the region.
