ALBURY, NSW — Dr. Gregory John Couch has been arrested and charged with offences related to child abuse material following a police operation at a residence on Roper Street in Albury on Tuesday, June 24.
NSW Police allege that Couch, a medical professional, was linked to a mobile phone containing more than 5,000 files of child exploitation material. The investigation led to his arrest at the property, where evidence was seized for further analysis.
Following his arrest, Couch was refused bail during a hearing at Albury Local Court. Authorities continue to examine the seized digital content, and additional charges may be filed depending on the outcome of forensic analysis.
