BLOUNT COUNTY, AL — A routine traffic stop led to the arrest of repeat offender Donny Chambless after officers discovered 21 grams of methamphetamine in his vehicle, marking his second drug-related arrest in two months.
Traffic Stop & Drug Discovery
On Saturday, Chief Hathcock, Reserve Officer Williams, and K-9 Rango of the Snead Police Department pulled over Chambless for a traffic violation. Upon searching the vehicle, officers found methamphetamine in his possession.
Repeat Offender
Chambless had been stopped by the same officers two months earlier, where police found 20 grams of meth.
Arrest & Charges
Chambless was taken into custody and is currently being held at the Blount County Jail on controlled substance charges.
This marks the 13th drug bust of 2025 for Snead Police.
