WILMINGTON, DE — Donelle Harris, a 43-year-old man, was arrested on January 23, 2025, following a drug-related operation by the Wilmington Police Department’s Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division.
Officers were conducting surveillance in the 800 block of Kirkwood Street when they observed suspicious activity involving Harris. They took him into custody without incident and reportedly seized 1.6 grams of crack cocaine, seven Oxycodone pills, 34 Alprazolam pills, and various drug-related items.
Harris now faces charges including three counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. After his arraignment in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas, Harris was released on $30,400 secured bail.
The Wilmington Police Department stresses that these are merely allegations and that Harris remains innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
