Burlington, Vt. — A Burlington man and woman were arrested May 29 following police surveillance and a search that uncovered fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, and a stolen firearm.
Public tips about illicit drug activity led authorities to monitor 33-year-old Donald Raab on South Union Street, where he was seen engaging in drug transactions. Police also confirmed Raab had outstanding arrest warrants.
During Raab’s arrest, officers searched an associated apartment and found 36-year-old Caitlin Dimas hiding there. She too was wanted on outstanding warrants.
Searches of the apartment and a bag seized from Raab uncovered money, fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, and a stolen gun.
Raab was lodged at Northwest State Correctional Facility without bail due to fentanyl trafficking, cocaine possession, and his active warrants. He was arraigned on May 30 and later released on conditions. Dimas was lodged at Chittenden Regional Correctional Facility.
