PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) — Amanda Conner, 35, known as the ‘Don Julio Bandit,’ was arrested Wednesday for allegedly stealing over $2,500 worth of liquor from a local store. The St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office (SLCSO) apprehended Conner after she walked into Circle C Liquor Store and took several bottles of Don Julio and Hennessy Cognac.

Authorities said Conner has an extensive criminal history, including charges for forgery, narcotics possession, theft, and using false identification to defraud. Additionally, Conner has active warrants in Virginia and is suspected of committing crimes across several nearby counties.

“She’s been out here collecting crimes like their limited-edition tequila bottles,” the St. Lucie County deputies joked on Facebook.

Deputies are also seeking a man who was seen outside the store and later followed Conner inside. It remains unclear if this individual was involved in the theft.

Conner is currently being held at the St. Lucie County Jail while authorities continue to investigate the case.
