Bhubaneswar police have clarified the circumstances behind the murder of Satyabrata in Niladri Vihar. According to ACP Sonal Singh Parmar, the killing was a result of a love triangle involving Satyabrata, Dinesh Nayak, and Liza.
Investigators revealed that Dinesh Nayak attacked Satyabrata after discovering him in a room with Liza. While Liza tried to intervene, police confirmed she had no role in the murder. ACP Parmar emphasized that there was no larger conspiracy beyond the personal conflict arising from the love triangle.
Dinesh surrendered to authorities and is currently the sole accused in the Bhubaneswar case. Police plan to conduct a crime scene recreation to establish the precise sequence of events leading to the attack.
Reports indicate that Dinesh and Liza had lived together briefly before he moved to Jagatsinghpur. On the day of the incident, Dinesh, suspicious of Liza’s actions, confronted her and Satyabrata, which escalated into the fatal attack.
Police continue to investigate, confirming that evidence directly implicates Dinesh, while Liza’s involvement was limited to being present during the attack.
