In a significant arrest, Shahkot police have apprehended Dilbag Singh, a resident of Nangal Ambian village, on charges of culpable homicide and criminal conspiracy.
The arrest came after Sukhjindar Singh, another resident of the same village, filed a complaint with the police. According to his statement, Dilbag Singh and three other accomplices attacked him with the intention to kill and threatened his life.
Investigating officer Nirmal Singh confirmed that a case was registered under Sections 105 (culpable homicide), 61(2) (criminal conspiracy), and 3(5) (committing crime with common intention) of the BNS against Dilbag Singh and his accomplices.
The police are continuing their investigation into the motive behind the attack and any additional details that may emerge. Authorities have reassured the public that strict action will be taken against those involved in such violent criminal activities.
